Thankful for Friends

Thanksgiving Day

by Keith

The greatest thing about our seven winters in Rockport was the great people we enjoyed at the park! When Pat and I stopped to visit the Logsdons in Alamo yesterday, we all agreed on that!

Both families are from Iowa—Bob & Gelene from Ankeny and Keith & Pat from Cedar Rapids—but didn't know each other until they met at the park. The Williams are now spending their third winter in Mission, while the Logsdons are enjoying their second winter in Alamo.

As you can see, the sun was very bright yesterday. It seems brighter than it ever is in Iowa!

The result of our visit yesterday is that all four of us wish our Rockport friends a wonderful Thanksgiving and agree that we are very thankful for all the great friends we made in Rockport!
