Thanks for sharing your Alaskan adventures. I was there in 6/91 and panning for gold at Dredge #8 was a whole lot different back then. We were given a shovel and dish, told where to dig, then worked the pan along the stream - no fancy tables/chairs of roof over our heads, but it was still fun. The best part was finding those bits of gold in the pan. Take care and hi to Pat. Dianne
