---that's the caption given this picture by Ted, the photographer.
This is a T-34c Turbomentor, manufacuted by Beech Aircraft (now Raytheon) headquartered in Wichita. It is a derivative of the Beechcraft Bonanza, older versions of which are readily recognizable by their familiar V tail.
Power is provided by a turbo-prop engine manufactured by Pratt & Whitney of Canada.
This version of the trainer has been in service 32 years and costs about a million bucks each.
It carries a student and an instructor pilot, both can be seen in Ted's great picture. The instructor is in the rear.
