No one will argue that the first Murder Mystery Dinner Theater put on at Rockport 35 RV park was a success!
It really all began last Fall, in Lime Springs, Iowa—Keith's hometown. There, Annette Rubin directed the same play and performed it in the local Community Center.
Keith called her, discussed the play, and asked if it would "play," not in Peoria, but in an RV park. Her answer: "Of course! It would be great!"
Keith suggested to Linda that a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater might be a good event for the park. She agreed, got Keith to volunteer to direct the play, rallied a cadre of kitchen professionals, and made it happen.
Annette served as a consultant and even supplied the recipe for the delicious tira misu dessert which we all enjoyed! Now that's the kind of consultant one can really appreciate!
A full house of 96 enjoyed the evening. Once I get time, I'll publish some pictures of the event.
And now you know the rest of the story.
