Although it's been finished for some weeks now, only today did I remember to take a picture of Tony's Shed.
Last year, many will remember, this spot was but another patch of sand and brush. Then it was cleared, leveled, and footings and floor poured.
Then lots of guys at the park jumped in and assembled and erected the steel. When we left last year, it was open on both ends. Gene Lackore served as on-site construction superintendent.
Now the rear has an enclosed and insulated storage area which actually extends inside the building, too. And the front is finished, complete with an overhead door and a "people door."Last year, many will remember, this spot was but another patch of sand and brush.
