Update on Dick Carlson

On April 11th, Lucille called Rick to say they were just south of Lansing, MI and had pulled into a rest area because Dick was not feeling well and needed to lie down. Since his dad had just had a health issue a few week’s prior, Rick’s concern promoted him to drive to their location (two hours away). He sent his parents home in their car (Lucille drove) and Rick drove the truck and 5th wheel. Early the next morning, Lucille called saying Dick was not any better (weak, faint, disoriented) and she called an ambulance.

Upon admission they found he had a high fever and was dehydrated. And so the IV was started and tests were done. Bacteria in his blood lead to a few more tests. Once they determined the culprit, antibiotics were prescribed and another night’s stay to be sure the antibiotic was doing its job. Seems he has a bladder infection. He was released on the 14th and is doing much better. He sends his thanks for all your prayers and well wishes.
