Well, after nine days on the road, we made it home. The long trip back was intentional since we had family visits scheduled in Alabama and Ohio.
We drove into a light snow storm in northern Kentucky which continued through Ohio. Nothing serious but certainly one weather element we did not want to see.
We did have a little snow remaining when we got home, but much of it melted today with temps in the mid 50s.
The highlight of our return trip was stopping in Alabama to see our granddaughter, Peyton.
She turned one on March 26th and we celebrated at her birthday party on the 27th.
She is beautiful, smart, and a very happy child. Can hardly be a grandparent without bragging some.

Would love to hear from our fellow RV 35 travelers as you arrive home or to your next destination. Send Keith or me an email with highlights of your return trip, or just that you arrived safely. We'd be more than happy to post on the blog and share -- let's keep in touch.

Glad to know you got home. Also, glad I'm not there to see the snow - if I never see it again I'll be happy. After a cold (for El Centro) winter and early spring the temps hit 100 this week!! I'm in heaven. Love you both - and yes Peyton is beautiful.
